Intelligent Tech: Series 2, Ep #1: Time to act - Discussing a British AI Bill with Lord Holmes

Charles Kerrigan sits down with Lord Holmes of Richmond to discuss his Private Members’ AI Bill. Lord Holmes discusses the need for regulation of AI, international competitiveness, an independent AI regulator, responsible officers and ensuring the Bill is forward-thinking. Lord Holmes invites everyone to contact him with views and feedback, to ensure the Bill develops to be the most effective it can be. The Bill will be progressing through the stages of Parliament, with a second reading in the House of Lords on 22 March 2024.
